Joyce Elizabeth (Stacy) Francis, was born September 22, 1935 in Roswell, New Mexico to the late Frank and Jessie (McBrayer) Stacy.
She peacefully left to go to her heavenly home, and forever be with Jesus, on Friday, July 3rd, 2020 in her hometown of Roswell.
Joyce had a great devotion to God, that carried and sustained her as an Overcomer, through her entire life. She had a real compassion for people and desired to spread Joy, which is part of her name. She dearly loved her family, and never missed a family photo opportunity, even with her Polaroid lnstamatic camera. Other things she enjoyed doing were flower gardening, bird-watching, camping, picnicking, and time in the fresh mountain air, admiring the scenery and nature.
Along with being a wife and homemaker, she also had worked in education, sales, and was a member of the Salvation Army Home League.
Joyce's memory will be kept alive by her devoted husband of 49 years, John Francis, Roswell; her loving children, daughter Angela Alfaro and son-in-law Steve, Las Cruces; son Farrel McKay and daughter-in-law Denise, Belen; son Perry McKay, Dumas, TX; and a stepdaughter Sharon White, and stepson-in-law Henry (Porkey), Elwood IN.
She also has 8 grandchildren, and 30+, great grandchildren that add to her legacy. She leaves two sister-in-laws, Betty Stacy and Doris Kennedy, to cherish her memory. There are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and also all the Francis family, who loved her dearly.
