William Montgomery Jr.

William D. (Bill) Montgomery Jr. 81 Loving Husband and Father, Went to be with his Lord on March 15, 2019.

Bill is survived by his wife of 61 Years Peggy Montgomery, Three Sons and their Spouses, William D. Montgomery III and his wife Gloria, Michael J. Montgomery, and Danny W. Montgomery and his wife Jana.

Eight grand Children Monty and his wife Samantha, Robby and his wife Valerie, Andy, Taylor, Jeremiah, Cody, Kylie and Amber. One Step Grandson Tim, 2 great grandchildren Ethan and Sara, 2 Step Great grandchildren Kayleb and Lucas.

Bill is proceeded in death by his Parents William and Rita Montgomery, and his sister Cindy Kay Renick and his great grandchild Issac Paul Montgomery.

Bill was born on June 26th, 1937 in Picher OK. On January 11th, 1957 Bill joined the United States Air Force. He did basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antione, he then went to weapons school at Lowry AFB in Denver CO. before being station at Walker Air Force base in Roswell NM on November 4th, 1956. He went to work for Southwestern Public Service Company (Xcel Energy) On January 25th, 1960 and retired after 41 years 3 months of service. His duties included Substation Working Forman, Substation General Forman and Relay & Communication Supervisor of the New Mexico Division.

The family would like to thank the ACU staff and the ultrasound staff of Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. Or as he called them His Angles, Becky, Liz, Lil, Misty and T, Danielle, Hanna and Victor. He always looked forward to his Thursday visits to see you.

The Family would also like to thank the Staff of Casa Maria, The Roswell Fire Department for all the times they came to his aid. And Superior Ambulance Services.

His pallbearers will be his Grandchildren

Honorary pallbearers will be his Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday 23rd 2019 at Gateway church.
Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. at LaGrone Funeral Chapel Friday, March 22nd, 2019.
