Wanda Pack, age 78, of Roswell passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. Visitation 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Pack Family Cemetery.

Wanda Jean Pack was born in Roswell, New Mexico on December 1, 1938 to Loyd and Hazel "Pat" Green. Wanda was the second of three children. She attended school in Roswell and also attended Southwestern Assemblies of God Bible School in Waxahachie, Texas.

Wanda lived in Roswell most of her life and married her high school sweetheart, Jimmy Don Pack, on August 31, 1956. Together, they sang in the Harvester Choir at Southwestern and served in several areas of ministry at First Assembly of God Church, including music, youth, and Sunday school for many years.
Wanda was always a loving and deeply devoted wife and mother. She was cherished by her family and dearly loved by all who knew her.

When Wanda and Jimmy were looking for a symbol to represent their farm, Wanda came up with the idea of Diamond Heart Farms. A diamond heart is symbolic of love and the beautiful prism of light shining out on the world. This is a prefect description of Wanda herself. Initially you were drawn to the outward beauty as she was always dressed in impeccable fashion, but it was that pure prism of light, love, kindness and joy that made you not only want to know her, but to be more like her.

Words will fail to convey just how precious she truly was. Devoted, sweet, affectionate, caring, fun, generous, and beautiful inside and out. She was truly a diamond heart!

Truly an angel of God's love, she had a unique gift for making every occasion sparkle with beauty, warmth and love. Birthdays and holidays in her home were such beautiful celebrations; Wanda had that gift of making everyone feel that they were uniquely special to her.

Wanda was accomplished musically and artistically. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, organ and the accordion. She created amazing works of china painting. Everything she touched was beautifully decorated and is a treasure trove of her memory.

She always wanted her heart to reflect Christ's love and prayed daily for others and gave generously to causes she believed in. Wanda was a lifelong student of the Word of God and delighted in sharing and in searching out the deep things of the Bible. Her Bible was worn, highlighted, tattered and noted from many years of prayerful use and is an example of the phrase, "A Bible that is falling apart belongs to a person who is not."

Wanda was preceded in death by her father Loyd Green, mother Hazel "Pat" Green, brother Marshall Green and granddaughter Krystle Dawn Stephenson.
Wanda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Pack, daughter Twyla Pack, son Gary Pack and wife Nance, son David Pack and wife Stephanie, grandchildren Heather Stephens, Shiloh Breedyk and husband Justin, Logan Pack and wife Michelle, Caleb Pack and wife Grace, Lyric Pack, Zoe and Justus Pack, great grandchildren Rylan, Jude, Harley and their father Lucas Ruiz, Elijah, Zyon and their father Landon Stephenson, Sophie and Harper Pack, Ellen "Tootsie" Green (wife of Loyd Green) and her daughter Jackie Waggoner and husband Terry, sister-in-law Anna Green (wife of Marshall Green), brother Jack Green and wife Mary and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
