Virnie was born July 4, 1956 in Roswell, NM. to Virgil and Eula (Barnett) Sanders.

Virnie graduated from Roswell High School in 1975 and was a member of the ROTC Class. He was a vivid huntsman and enjoyed so much being with his father and family. He often spoke of the times hunting with his family and told the stories he heard of the family. He truly loved those days and they helped him to become a great man of what love for the family is all about.

Virnie worked all of his life, as a little boy his father would give him pigs, he raised them and sell them and was able to pay for his own school clothes until he graduated. As a young man in High School, he worked for Durbs Produce and the City of Roswell. In 1991 he and his family moved to Nashville, TN, where he worked in the General Services Department for the Metropolitan Government City of Nashville for over 10 years, until his Medical Disability in 2009 when he retired.

Virnie Sanders was honorable man, he loved his wife, children, and family with all his heart. He was best husband, dad, brother, and a friend to all who knew him. The scriptures tell us about having a good name and Virnie was that person, he loved attending and working for God at High Forest Church of God in Hohetwald, TN.

Throughout Virnie's life, he was a man that truly wanted the world to know that there still is a Cowboy who rides for the brand and sets the example for others to follow.
