Tony Strange

STRANGE, TONY RAY Visitation for Tony Ray Strange age 59, of Roswell, NM will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 20, 2018 at First Church of the Nazarene.

Tony was born September 3, 1958. Parents are Howard Strange and Era B. Patton (Strange) and Alvorn Clifton. He was a lifelong member Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and loved the Lord; Tony was part of People's First, Tabosa Development, Mi Villa, Catering Services and was a helper of anyone in need, Tony never met a stranger.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a brother, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Tony is survived by his wife, Almetra Strange of the family home; son, Dontrell Moore of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Lisa D. McLean of Houston, TX; Pappa Joe and Momma Alice Hicks of Roswell, NM; brother, Reginald Brown of Austin, TX; sisters, Margaree Oliver of Atlanta, GA, Betty Clifton Brooks (Johnny) of Albuquerque, NM, Willemina Clifton of Mesa, AZ; grandchild, JaLisa McLean; God Children, LayDayjha McDonald and K'Andre Harris; special "sisters", Georgia Bassinger (Victor) of Roswell, NM, Virginia Duran of Sherman, TX.

Pallbearers will be Robert Hickman, Santiago Segovia, Ernest Buckham, Tracy Harris, Floyd Bell, Frank Terrell, Louis Viscarrando. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Olive State Men, Mt. Gilead Men and Nephews.
