Silvestre Perez

Silvestre P. Perez, age 69, passed away Monday August 22, 2016. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited 7:00 PM Friday August 26, 2016. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday August 27, 2016 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Deacon Ernesto Martinez will be officiating.

Silvestre was born October 29, 1946 in Roswell, NM, to Epifanio G. and Felipa N. Perez. He served his country in the United States Army from 1964 to 1968. He loved to go fishing and to the casinos, and playing bingo. Silvestre was a tender hearted man and liked to share his joy with everyone he met.
He is preceded by his parents Epifanio G. and Felipa N. Perez., and 2 nephews Pedro Fabian Haner and Dominik Finch.

He is survived by his sons Silvestre Perez, Jr. and children Nina, Charlie, Tomas, and Deliah; Alberto Perez, and his children Brittany and Vanessa. One daughter Angelita Valdez and her husband Adam, and their children Melissa Garcia, Alycia Azucena, and Adam Valdez, Jr. Brothers Gene Perez and his wife Connie, Epifanio Perez, Jr. and his wife Teresa, Domingo Perez and his wife Daisy, Tony Perez, Teddy Perez. Sisters Becky Perez, Mary Ann Gruber and her husband Jerry, Phil Lucero and husband Gilbert, Rita Osborn and husband Floyd, Savina Loya and husband Alonso. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Josh Perez, Chris Perez, Tim Perez, Eric Perez, Gilbert Lucero, and Floyd Osborn.

The family will be receiving guests at 2603 N. Washington Ave. The family would like to give a special thanks to Teddy Perez and the staff at Gentiva Hospice.
