Russell Cain

Russell Cain, 56, beloved husband, father, brother, and son, went to be with our Lord January 3, 2022. He entered this world December 27, 1965, to Donald and Gloria Cain who preceded him in death. Russell is also preceded in death by his grandparents Juan and Efren Silva, and brother Alan Cain.

Russell is survived by his wife Rebecca Cain; daughter Joanna Remigio of Georgia; son Jesse Cain of Roswell, NM; son-in-law Yazi Remigio; grandkids Ian, Aiden, and Jazlynn Remigio; in- Laws Travis and Pam Pittman of Roswell NM; sister Sharon Cain (Manuel Martinez) of Sapello NM; brother Larry Cain (Christine Lucero) of Santa Rosa NM; brothers-in-law Tim Pittman (Kathy Pittman) of Lovespark ILL and Kyle Pittman (Christy Pittman) of Georgia; nieces Martina Martinez, Jasmine Cain, Taylor Pittman and Madison Pittman; nephews Vincent Martinez, Carlos Gallegos, Austin Pittman, Jacob Pittman and Christopher Cain; great nieces Aaliyah and Arianna Gallegos, Alanaya Serrano, Kaidyn, Kassie, Kendall Martinez; good friends Art Otero and Diana Fall; Plus several Aunts and Uncles. Russell loved and was loved by so many and was so very blessed!

Russell served in the Army from 1986 - 1989. He went on to work for the Sheriff Office in Santa Rosa. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Social Work at NMHU. He worked for the State of NM as a Southeastern Regional Manager for Adult Protective Services. This is where he found his calling by helping the elderly. Russell will be truly missed.

Services will be January 21, 2022, at 12:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church!
