Ralph Reed

REED, RALPH A. -- Graveside services are scheduled for 9:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at South Park Cemetery for Ralph A. Reed, age 81, of Roswell, who passed away July 21, 2006 at a local nursing center. Pastor Phil Quintana will officiate.

Ralph was born April 28, 1925 in Clinton, Indiana to Joseph and Nellie Johnson Reed. He is preceded in death by his parents, his infant son: Ronald Dale; brothers: Russell, Richard, Robert; sisters: Helen, Mabel, Martha.

Ralph Allan Reed married the love of his life, Norma Jean Davis on June 10, 1949 in Muncie, Indiana. She survives him at the family home.

Survivors also included his son: Allan Lowell Reed; his daughter: Holly Carter and her husband Alan Carter of Roswell; 2 Granddaughters: Amanda and Ashley Carter.

Ralph enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country during WWII in Germany and France. He was a Sergeant; a teletype operator. After the service he was employed by Chrysler Corporation for 37 years. He was a very giving and loving husband and the best father and grandfather. He always put his family and friends first in whatever endeavor came his way. He will be deeply missed by all.

Honorary Pallbearers: Fred Banks, Carl Kirkman, Louie Rendaci, Corey Woodbury.
