Patricia Bush

Patricia Ann Bush was born in Carlsbad on November 6, 1934 and left this world on November 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Kathryn Rumbaugh, who passed on October 8, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Bush, her parents, John Tillman and Mary Kate Stephens, her five other siblings, Dorothy, J.T., Mary, Luther and Steve.

Pat's early career started at the Roswell School Administration office and later she joined the staff at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. She and Kathy started Professional Office Services where they worked closely with the medical community.

Pat's greatest joy were the many trips she made with George. They were frequently found packing up their camping gear and traveling to every corner of the country. Pat was a terrific cook and gracious hostess. She made every holiday special for all of her family preparing feasts for the body and soul. The family has many fond memories gathered around their table. She loved George, life, her family and laughter.

Pat is survived by her step-children Michael Bush, Jerry Ann Mofat, Patsy Hodges and her husband, Vernon, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Pat is survived by many nieces and nephews. Beth Burroughs and Rebecca Bowman were fortunate to be with Pat during their mom's passing in early October. Pat received constant care from her nieces, Cheryl Rumbaugh and Lauri Rumbaugh Foster through her last years and time of transition.

Pat will be remembered as an amazing woman with a generous heart. She is now joyfully reunited with George, her loving sister Kathy, her dear family, and many dear friends.
