In Loving Memory
Nancy Annette Zuber Born in Atlanta, TX on August 2, 1947
Nancy Annette Zuber went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2025.
Nancy was a dedicated and beloved schoolteacher that retired from many years of service to the children of Roswell ISD. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, where she devoted over 20 years to leading the Girls in Action ministry. More recently, she taught the Senior Women’s Bible Study and directed the church’s outreach ministry for widows and shut-ins. Nancy was a kind and loving spirit who cherished her daily practices of intercessory prayer and journaling. She lovingly nurtured all her indoor and outdoor plants, an example of how she would bring warmth, life and care to everything and everyone around her. Throughout her life she had a talent and love for art, frequently creating her own personal cards for her children and grandchildren.
Nancy and her husband, Kenny, were blessed with four children and nine grandchildren. Their family includes Jeffrey and Sylvia of Memphis, TN, who have a daughter, Sydney; Daniel and Lynetta of Roswell, parents to Audrey and Yosef; Kelly and Megan of Monument, CO, with children Keegan, Maeve, Kameron, and Kilian; and Laura and Jason McQuesten of Virginia Beach, VA, who have James and Emily.
Nancy and Kenny took great pride in supporting all their children through college and beyond, helping them earn bachelor’s degrees and additional advanced degrees, including three master’s degrees and a Juris Doctor. Yet, Nancy’s greatest joy was her deep love and devotion to her nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey Strickland and Thomas (T.B.) Neese; her brothers, Harrel and John; and her sister, Betty.
