Nancy Pilley

Nancy was born on June 14, 1937 in Cleveland, O.H., to Paul and Jennola Harkus. She worked for Chaves County, in the Assessor's, Clerk's and Treasurer's offices for 25 years. She also worked at Roswell Sertoma Club Bingo for 25 years. Nancy volunteered at Lovelace Regional Hospital, which she loved. She was a member of the Foresters for many years. She loved to travel and was blessed enough to see many different parts of the world with her best friend, Ruby! Her favorite things to do were, playing Bingo, playing the slots at any casino, and cross-stitching. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She never forgot anyone's special day, be it birthday, anniversary, or any other important event.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rodger H. Bensinger.

She is survived by her husband of 3 ½ years, James Pilley of Roswell; her sister Judi Naderhoff and her family of Santee, C.A.; her brother-in-law Robert Bensinger and his family of Akron, O.H.; her five children Sheila Pena and her husband Martin of Roswell; Thomas Bensinger of Roswell; Julie Bensinger and her partner Ed Valenzuela of Roswell; Kenneth Bensinger and his wife Anna of Roswell; and Ronald Bensinger and his wife Lindsey of Santee, C.A. She has 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was a very family-oriented, fun loving, and independent woman who will be greatly missed by many.
