MEREDITH, MARY BELLEMary Belle Meredith, age 90 of Roswell passed away on December 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014 at LaGrone FuneralChapel. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Officating Minister Gary Gingrinch, Jehovahs Witness.
Mary was born on October 5, 1924 to Stephen A. Winters and Hattie E. Smith in Cove, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Hattie Winters, husband Mack Meredith, brothers Bruce, Lee and Everett and sisters Myrtle, Pink and Mickey and a grandson Craig A. Meredith.
Mary is survived by her sons Steve Meredith and wife Tretha and Rodney Meredith and wife Georgetta, daughters Carolyn K. Counts and husband Wayne and Kathy Nepps and husband Bernie, grandsons Greg Meredith, Jon Meredith, Steve Meredith and Chad Riley, granddaughters Druselle May and Maril Riley, along with 14 great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren.
She graduated from Weed High School. Mary married her husband, M.M. Mack Meredith on March 11, 1945 in Carlsbad, NM. He passed away in January 25, 1955. Mary was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother to 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren and their families. She was baptisted as one of Jehovahs Witnesses in July 1973. She started her career as a telephone operator and finished as bookkeeper and office manager of South Park Cemetery for 15 years. Mary was always proud of her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed the company of her fellow Witnesses and spending time in the ministry. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Jon Meredith, Steve Meredith, Greg Meredith, Dan May, Cameron Meredith, Craig Meredith. Honarary Pallbearers will be Chad Riley, Wayne Counts and Bernie Nepps.
