Margie Rocha

Margie F. Spear-Rocha, age 88, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at her home in Roswell, NM. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, June 7th at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 8th at LaGrone funeral chapel. Pastor Donald Hay of Portales Church of God will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park, 2605 E. 19th St. Roswell NM.

Margie was born May 27, 1933 in Atoka Oklahoma to Charley E. Brumley and Georgia Mae Brumley. Margie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her late husband Fernando Rocha, daughter in law Carol Spear, grandson Daryl Spear and son Terry Spear.

Margie married Leo Spear, November 22, 1949 and were blessed with six children. On December 1, 2000 Margie married Fernando Rocha.

Margie is survived by her children Leo B. Spear Jr. of Rapid City, SD, daughter in law Betty Spear of Roswell, Debbie Williams and husband Jack of Roswell, Randy Spear of Capitan, NM, Judaun Spear-Prichard and Phil Runyan (partner) of Roswell, and Cheryl Johnson and husband Brad of Portales, NM.

Margie was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Charlie Spear and wife Kim, Steven Spear of Sioux Falls, S.D., grand daughter in law Shawn Bowles of Ft. Pierre, SD, Christie Campbell and husband Justin of Roswell, Jimmie Williams and wife Melissa of Roswell, Robert Spear and Melinda of Dexter, NM, Nakesha Spear and J.J. of Roswell, Christopher Spear and wife Nichole of Roswell, Corey Johnson of Portales, NM, Joshua Johnson and Ariel of Portales, NM, Travis Johnson and wife Tana of Post, TX, and Breann Hudson and husband Justin of Roswell.

21 wonderful great grand-children, Patricia Spear, Jacob Spear, Cody Spear, Caleb Spear, James Forrest, Cooper Campbell, Jace Williams, Caitlin Campbell, Alyssa Spear, Janice Forrest, Brock Spear, Collin Johnson, Dominic Spear, Jonathon Forrest, Jackson Williams, Brantley Spear, Brazen Spear, Corbin Johnson, Cailee Johnson, Kysen Hudson and Gracie Johnson.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
