Manuel Baca Salgado

Late Saturday evening, April 18th, 2026, Manuel “Manny” Salgado passed away. Manny was a decorated athlete, award-winning chef, and beloved father, husband, and grandfather who had a million-dollar smile and lit up every room he entered. Educated in France in traditional French culinary cuisine, he served as a corporate executive chef, restaurant owner, and eventually a dietary director. The world will be a little less funny, magical, and bright without him. He is survived by his loving wife, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and three older sisters.
