Malcolm was born December 22, 1925 in Lubbock, Texas to Henry Lewis and Edith Kate (Crow) Harral. He grew up and graduated high school in Wayside , Texas . While at a community function at Milnesand, New Mexico, a sweet young girl of 14, asked if he would "pretend" to be with her to ward off the attention of unwanted suiter, and he said YES! That was the start of their courtship. After his service in the Army, he returned to marry the love of his life, Loretta Fay Watson on June 7, 1947, in a small ceremony in Portales, and honeymooned in Clovis. They were married for 68 ½ years. He and his new bride started their new life together farming in Milnesand, and later ranching in Melrose. In 1963 he bought his first ranch 13 miles east of Roswell where they raised their family. Then later he partnered with his two sons and they ranched in the Roswell, Encino, and Corona area.
Malcolm was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved GOD and served his LORD and SAVIOR throughout his life. He was a man of great integrity, and ranching was his occupation and his love.
