Mack Thomas Jr.

THOMAS JR., MACK SELTON-  Mack Selton Thomas Jr, age 62, of Roswell, NM passed from this life on August 21, 2019 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on May 14, 1957 in Roswell to the home of Mack Selton Thomas Sr and Artie Adelle (Meek) Thomas.

Mack is preceded in death by his parents Mack Selton Sr and Artie Adelle Thomas, and brother Michael Sam Thomas.

Mack served the city of Roswell for 34 years as an engineer. When he wasn’t serving his community, Mack enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and anything old western. Mack loved yellow roses, all the family’s dogs and cats, and most importantly his family and friends.

Mack is survived by his loving wife Amy Thomas of Roswell; daughters Amber James (Samantha Schoolcraft) and Celese Nicole of Roswell; cousin Judy Kay Langley of Tulare, California; and granddaughter Camryn Nicole. Father and mother-in-law, Richard and Linda Smith.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel with Pastor Troy Grant officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Melvin Amicone, Louis Prager, Louis Najar, Butch Hefner, Jim Sexe, and Robert Crane. Honorary Pallbearer will be Danny Savage.
