Proud to be a child of the most high God, Lyman Ray Graham, "Pal" was born on May 27th , 1954 in Roswell, NM to Lyman Robinson and Lula (Acrey) Graham. He passed from this earth at his residence, Tuesday, May 14th, 2019.
Lyman Ray married his first grade sweetheart, Carolyn Nan Williamson, in Tatum, NM on August 5,h, 1972. The team were examples to their family and started their dance together ranching in Lea County. Lyman and Carolyn had three daughters Lauren Celeste, Teressa Camille, and Camaryn Elayne Graham. Lyman always referred to his girls as "The Fairest in all the land", and this praise was blended with the example of a godly man, husband and father. Their journey led them to Roswell, NM where Lyman devoted his life to sharing the word of God. He found his niche in the food service industry becoming Food Service Director for Roswell, Dexter and Carlsbad schools. Though he would never be one to mention, he received numerous national awards for his service. He was respected and loved by his colleages and employees. His love for his staff was bigger than any daily pile of dishes. His passion for ministry was evident in all his relationships.
A happy, positive, kind-hearted, opinionated man, Lyman loved and trusted Jesus with all of his being. His faith overflowed onto every person he encountered. Lyman pastored an intimate fellowship, Narrow Way Ministries, that were like family to him.
In anticipation of his reunion embrace, remaining immediate family who will remember his loving nature are wife, Carolyn, daughters, Celeste (Graham) Benefield and husband, Jason of Destrehan, LA, Camille Graham of Runyan Ranches, and Camaryn (Graham) Henington of She's a Dandy and husband, Kevin. Lyman was also proud to be a "Pal" to his grandkids, Jaslin, Addison and Eden Benefield and Maycie, Mason, amd Pedro Henington, and Lyman's brother, Joel and sister, Lana. He loved his friends and family deeply and passed from this earth with joy and hope of happily forever.
Celebration of life will be at Christ's Church, 2200 N. Sycamore Ave, Roswell, NM at 4pm on Friday, May 17th, 2019. Suggested donations in lieu of florals may be made to The Assurance Home, 1000 East 18* Street, Roswell, NM 88201 OR Runyan Ranch Petting Zoo, 4839 Rio Penasco, Mayhill, NM 88339.
