RODRIGUEZ, LUPE STOGDEN - A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 25, 2018 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel located at 900 S. Main St. in Roswell, NM.

Lupe Rodriguez at the age of 78 of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2018. She was born on October 21, 1939, in Alamogordo, NM to Willie & Maria G. Stogden. Her family and her home were her world. She was a very loving, compassionate person who enjoyed life and all the blessings it gave her. The eight sons she raised were her pride and joy that gave her the biggest blessing of all. She love for her twenty grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren brought great joy to her.

After raising her boys, she took to the working world and lived up to the hard working standards instilled in her by her grandparents Lupe Anaya Gonzales & Ventura Gonzales. Over the years she held numerous job in Clovis, NM and Roswell, NM including the Clovis Retirement Ranch, Levi Strauss, Casa Maria and St Mary's hospital. She will be remembered by most however, for her big bright smile as the first person seen on the cafeteria line at Furr's Family Dining. She was loved and respected by so many and will be greatly missed.

Lupe was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. Stogden and Maria G. Stogden; son, Jacob Rodriguez; her two brothers, George Stogden & Jimmy Stogden and her sister, Virginia Stogden Martinez.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Rodriguez Jr.; Jesse Rodriguez Sr.; Jerry Rodriguez; James Rodriguez Sr.; Johnny Rodriguez Sr.; Julian Rodriguez and Jason Rodriguez . Lupe is also survived by a brother, David Stogden and sister, Bennie Stogden.
