Lula Moore

MOORE, EDNA M. -- A Memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel, for Edna M. Moore, age 99, of Roswell, who passed away July 30, 2006 at a local nursing home. Elton Dilbeck of West Country Club Church of Christ will conduct the service.

Edna was born February 4, 1907 in Haskell, Texas, to Christopher and Allie Belle Fuson Wooton. Her parents preceded her in death as well as 5 sisters. She was also preceded in death by an infant son.

She married Kay Mangum in January, 1933. He preceded her in death in June, 1952. She married Robert Moore in 1958. He also preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son; Jim K. Mangum and his wife Kathryn of Roswell, a daughter; Nadine Maben and her husband Currie of Clovis, NM. She is also survived by 2 nieces; Audrey Waggner and Olabelle Prentice, both of Roswell. Others surviving are 4 grandchildren; Johnny Maben, Beth Kennedy, Tammy Mangum and Jim Bob Mangum; 3 great-grandchildren; Kelli Marker, Jacob Kennedy and Nicolos Mangum..

Edna was a homemaker and a member of the West Country Club Road Church of Christ.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
