Joe Clements

Joe Bob Clements, age 86 of Roswell, NM passed away at his home, Sunday, February 28, 2021.

He was born August 17, 1934 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Roswell, NM to Frank and Genevieve Clements.

Joe graduated from Roswell School in 1954 and then attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. He also served in the United States Army at Ft. Hamilton, NY and Fort Bliss, TX from 1956 to 1961.

After 33 years of Service, Joe retired from the United States Postal Service in 1989.

Joe was married to the Jo Lynn McMillen from April 1963 until her death in 1990, then he married Mary Ives from 2001 until her death in December 2020.

Joe is survived by his 3 children, Clyde Clements, Robert Clements, and Victoria Ward, all of Roswell, NM: also 2 sisters, Cheryl Bradfield of Raleigh, NC and Cindy Clements of Artesia, NM. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Jolynn, Hugh, Summer, Jonathon, Tiara and 5 great grandchildren.

A viewing for Joe will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A private burial will be held at South Park Cemetery.
