Jesus "Chuy" Carrasco-Perez

February 11, 1971 — August 30, 2021

Roswell

Jesus "Chuy" Carrasco-Perez went to heaven on August 30, 2021.

Memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM,  Saturday, September 18, 2021 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel.

Jesus was born on Feb. 11, 1971 in Cd. Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico to Antonio Carrasco-Montes and Piedad Perez-Estevane. He married the love of his life Maria "Lucy" Carrasco on Feb. 26, 1988. He and his family moved to Roswell on July 1996.

Jesus worked for Landfair Enterprises for many years then became a self-contractor. He always had a special bond with all his clients and many of them became like family to him. Jesus was a man of many talents. He would lend a hand to anyone that needed help and was truly a selfless man. Jesus loved to be around all his little nieces and nephews. He treated them like his own grandkids. He was always full of love and patience for all the little ones. Jesus was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to watch and attend the games with the whole family. Jesus loved to travel and would always be the planner of the trips for the whole family. His favorite places to travel were Florida, Las Vegas, California and many more. His favorite thing to do was to get the family together for cookouts and family time.

Jesus is preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister, Emilia Fuentez. Those left to cherish and treasure Jesus' memory are his loving wife Lucy; his son Jesus A. Carrasco; his daughter Cecilia Thomas; his son-in-law Dylan C. Thomas and his precious and only grandson Christian M. Thomas. Also, his brothers Luis Gonzales (Leticia); Sergio A. Carrasco (Imelda); sister Manuela Ramirez; sister-in-law Irma Gonzales; Special cousin and best friend Cesar and Lorena Perez; Niece and sister Daena and Bud Niles and many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles that were very special to him. Jesus lived for his family!

Jesus' family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the nurses, doctors, and respiratory therapists at ENMMC/ICU for all the special care while dealing with COVID/Delta Variant.
