MARTINEZ, JESSIE ESPINOSA-Jessie Espinosa Martinez, age 93 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 26, 2015 at 1:30 a.m. in Roswell. Visitation will be held at LaGrone Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Eugene De Los Santos from El Calvario Iglesia Bautista. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Jessie was born March 26, 1921 in Roswell to Ynocente Espinosa and Juaqiuna Escobar. She is preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Martinez, David Jimenez and numerous nephews and nieces.

She is survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; Benjamin Espinosa, Amparo Jimenez, Inez Oswald Delia and Steve Hernandez, Ruby Gonzales, Mary Helen Cardona, Delphina Fritz, Greg and Sally Segovia, Sr., Greg and Mary Segovia, Jr., Paul and Debra Stricker, Jim and Sally Kelly, Lorrina Segovia, Joe and Katy Jimenez, Gil and Patty Jimenez, Bill and Domie McCarty.

Jessie was a charter member of El Calvario Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, and her church family. Jessie saved memorabilia. She also served a 20 year tenure with St. Mary's Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Greg Segovia Sr., Greg Segovia Jr., Paul Stricker, Steve Hernandez Sr., Steve Hernandez, Jr. and Billy Jimenez.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to El Calvario Baptist Church on Tilden and Garden.
