Jeneva Glenny

A visitation will be held 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday, May 4, 2015 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Jeneva (Neva) Irene Glenny, age 53, who passed away May 1, 2015. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Pastor Richard Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Jeneva was born on September 4, 1961 to James and Charlotte Woody in Roswell, NM. She married her husband, James Glenny on June 4, 1981.

Jeneva was studying to be a Medical Document Specialist. She loved animals and was a Salvation Army volunteer. Jeneva never met a stranger. She worked at Alco for 15 years then at Westlake Hardware for 7 years. She enjoyed reading, crafts and her passion was her love for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory is her husband, James; her parents, James and Charlotte; mother-in-law, Margaret Nell Glenny; brother James (Bo) Woody and his wife Luci, of Roswell, NM; nieces, Sheena Tozier and her husband Lloyd of Maryland, and their child, Ada Tozier and Alicia Woody, of Hobbs, NM; nephews, Jason Foster and his wife Colleen and their children Logan and Nathan, of Hobbs, NM, Michael Woody, of Roswell, NM; and Matthew Woody, United States Navy of San Diego, CA; sister-in-law, Wanda Glenny Foster and her husband Tim, of Roswell, NM.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Bessie Woody; Luther and Marie Cox; father-in-law, Latson (Buster) Glenny.

Pallbearers will be James (Bo) Woody, Michael Woody, Jason Foster, Tim Foster, Cody Evans and Robert Hale II.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Woody, Ronny Cox and Scott Brook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 897, Roswell, NM 88202
