Jane Johnson

Jane Johnson passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 morning at home in Roswell, NM. Born in NYC, she lived in California, working as a bedside nurse for many years before retiring to Roswell with husband Art 20 years ago. In Roswell she found a true home and restarted her career to be of service to her new community. She was a career nurse and nursing instructor who earned a Masters in Nursing, she was an adult literacy volunteer teacher for several years. In retirement, she was active in food bank programs and helping in local hospice and home health care as long as her health held. She touched an enormous number of lives for the better. She is survived by her three children, Kurt, Evelyn, and Karl, and one grandson.
