Greg Meredith

MEREDITH, GREG- A funeral service for Greg Meredith, age 52, of Amarillo, TX, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 8, 2020, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Roswell, NM.  Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Roswell. Greg passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020.

Greg was born January 16, 1968, in Santa Fe, NM to Steve and Tretha Meredith.

When he was in high school, he was on the Amarillo single and doubles tennis team.  After graduation from Amarillo High School in 1986, he attended West Texas State University where he was a Phi Delta Theta pledge. Greg met and married the love of his life, Kelly San Miguel, May 16, 1992 in Amarillo, TX.  He worked for Coca Cola for twenty-five years, then after Coca Cola he worked for Love’s Travel Stop for three years.

He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees, golf, and softball.

He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Craig Allen Meredith, his father, Steve Meredith, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife Kelly Meredith; his daughter, Stephanie Tisdale and husband, Jered Tisdale; his son, Craig Alton Meredith; his daughter, Leah Young; his granddaughter, Alexia Young, and his mother, Tretha Meredith, of Amarillo, TX.

Pallbearers will be Craig Alton Meredith, Jered Tisdale, Tommy Nunn, Greg Keel, Steve Meredith and Jon Meredith. Honorary pallbearers are Stephanie Tisdale, Leah Young and Alexia Young.

The family request people dress in Cowboys, Yankees or the team of their choice to the service.
