Gloria Alvarado

Gloria S. Alvarado, 63, was called home to be with the Lord Friday, October 30th, 2015. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 4, 2015 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday November 5th, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Saint Catherine's Catholic Church in Hagerman, New Mexico, graveside service will follow at the Hagerman Cemetery. Deacon Jesus Herrera will be officiating.

Gloria was born to Juan and Francisca Salinas on April 4, 1952 in Sweetwater, Texas. Gloria spent many years as a caregiver both professionally and personally. She cared for her family and loved to spend time with them. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, she cherished every moment they shared together.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Francisca Salinas, her brother Paul Salinas, and Juan Salinas Jr.

Gloria is survived by her son Ray Alvarado and wife Stacy of Midland, Texas and son Jaime Juan Alvarado of Hagerman, New Mexico, brother Eloy Salinas of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother Alfredo Salinas of Abilene, Texas; and brother Jesse Salinas of Plainview, Texas. Also sister Connie Grado of Midland, Texas and sister Rosalinda Renteria of Roswell, New Mexico; and 3 beautiful grandchildren, Stephen, Casandra, and Kimberly Alvarado.
