Eufemia Popejoy

POEJOY, EUFEMIA- Eufemia Popejoy, 81, was a beloved Wife, loving Mother and Grandmother and Sister. Eufemia was called to her eternal resting place on Sunday, January 20, 2019. She was born on September 9, 1937, in San Patricio, NM, to Anacieto and Reynalda Lucero.

Eufemia is survived by her Husband, Ray Popejoy of San Patricio, NM; Sisters, Reynalda Guiterrez, Jessie Livingston, Feliz Larson, Sabrina Wilcox, and Brother Anacieto Lucero, Jr.; Daughters-in-Law, Yovanne Lucero, Patricia Lucero and Martha Lopez-Lucero; Grandsons, Robert Lopez, Jeremy Lucero, Brandon Lucero; Granddaughters, Crystal Gail Lucero, Ashley Lucero, Joanne Nunez, Crystal Torrez, Raeanne Rodriguez. Eufemia was also blessed with 12 Great Grandchildren; niece Anna Chavez and husband Jimmy.

Eufemia was preceded in death by her Parents; Three loving Sons, Bert Lucero, David Lucero, Paul Lucero, and her siblings Joe Lucero, Leo Lucero, Gene Lucero, Mary Rodelo.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Jude Catholic Church in San Patricio, NM, burial and reception to follow.
