Spuds was also a charter member of the Telco Federal Credit Union, to which she served on the Board of Directors, the Supervisory Committee and the Credit Committee over the years. She was also a member of the Soroptimist Organization for Women. Spuds enjoyed oil painting, and playing cards and dominoes with her friends in the retirement community, but most importantly spending time with her children, grandchildren and her family.

She always made sure everyone she knew was remembered on their birthdays with a card and a caring, thoughtful word.
