Edythemae Simonton

A private service will be held for Edythemae Marie Simonton, age 85, of Roswell, who passed away on August 26, 2015.

Edythemae was born on December 11, 1930 to Russell and Mabel Lightfield Halver in Havre, Montana.

She was a homemaker and together with her husband, H.V., they had a son, Wayne Simonton; daughter, Debbie Ellington and her husband Bill, all of whom precede her in death. Along with a grandson, Wayne Simonton II.

Edyth was a volunteer at Eastern New Mexico Ladies Auxiliary, and touched many people with her volunteer work.

She is survived by grandson, Shane Gerstenberger; great grandson, Chase Gerstenberger, both of Roswell.
