Carl Rogers

Carl Marvin Rogers, age 79, of Artesia passed away on April 11, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, New Mexico.

Carl was born August 11, 1936, in Artesia to William Ivan and Ruth Rogers. He was a lifetime resident of Artesia. He was a mechanic in Artesia most of his life, following in his father's footsteps. His hobbies included horses, donkeys and the mountains.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Margie Stimson and one brother, William "Bill" Rogers.

Carl is survived by one son, Gene Rogers and his wife Wendy of Lake Arthur, New Mexico; two grandchildren, Jerry Rogers and his wife Stephanie, of Littleton, Colorado, Kristy (Rogers) Maley and her husband Jeff of White's City, New Mexico; two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Savannah Rogers.
