Beverly Ann Bradley

September 28, 1947 — October 16, 2025

Beverly Ann Bradley passed away on October 16, 2025, in Roswell, New Mexico. Beverly was born on September 28, 1947, to Hardy Ray Murphy and Edna Mae Bradley, in Bryan, Texas.

Beverly was the oldest of 10 siblings. Beverly moved to Roswell in 1953 where she attended school and became a member of Galilee Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend J.J. Josey. Beverly gave her life to Christ at a very early age. In 1964, she graduated from Roswell High School. Out of high school, Beverly pursued her dream in nursing, as she loved taking care of “God’s Children”. She worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in Roswell as a Candy Stripper before attending the University of Texas El Paso (UTEP), in El Paso, Texas. She later attended the New Mexico University School of Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing.

In 1968, Beverly was involved in an unfortunate car accident where she lost her best friend, Laura Boyce, as well as another close friend. By the grace of God, Beverly survived the accident and recovered well. In 2012, Beverly and her mother moved back to Roswell, following her retirement from nursing in Albuquerque. They joined Mt. Gilead Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Artis Allen. She dedicated her time to helping others, but mostly to caring for her beloved mother up until her passing in 2023.

Beverly was a faithful member of her church and her church family, but most importantly, she was an unwavering servant for her Lord and Savior. She provided love and support for the Bradley family all her life, teaching the true meaning of life to her siblings and those who had the opportunity to know her. She will be truly missed. May God Bless her and keep her in his care.

Beverly is preceded in death by her mother, Edna; Brothers, Donald Bradley and Anthony Bradley; Sister, Pamela D. Bradley; and her daughter Edina Ann Bradley.

Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Ray Bradley, Keith Bradley (Peggy), Rodney Bradley, and Stanley Murphy; Sisters, Susan Scott, Sharla Bradley, and Kim Bradley; A host of cousins; and her loving companion and best friend, Nina.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donna and Gregory Burke; Shannon Murphy, Sherrae Scott; Dawn Reed; Sybil Bradley; Nicole Bradley; Marcus Moss; Gregory Scott; Patricia Bradley; Grace Scott; Pamela M. Bradley; Latoya Bradley; Andre Scott; Angeline Butler; Dana Bradley; and Linwood Washington.
