Manager
George A. Stapp the manager at LaGrone Funeral Chapel is a native of Texas born and reared in Ft. Stockton, TX. A graduate of Ft. Stockton High School and The Dallas Institute of Funeral Service.
George is a licensed funeral director in New Mexico and Texas, serving families in the funeral industry since 1983, moved to Roswell in January 1995 and started with LaGrone Funeral Chapel. A member of the New Mexico Funeral Service Association and The National Funeral Directors Association. Also serves on the Roswell City Cemetery Board.
George is a active member of Calvary Baptist Church, Member and past master of Hondo Masonic Lodge # 74, member of the Roswell Pecos Valley Rotary Club, and past chairman of the Roswell chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He is also a former Cub Scout leader and Committee member of Boy Scout Troop # 17.
George is married to Pam, a homemaker, and they have a daughter Andrea a 2006 graduate of Goddard High School. She now attends NMSU in Las Cruces working on her degree in animal science. Son, Garret, who attends Goddard High School and is very active in many of the sports programs.

Funeral Director
Michael is a native of Roswell being a life long resident. He is a graduate of Goddard High School and ENMU-R.
Michael has been a director with LaGrone Funeral Chapel since 1981 he is also the owner of Klassic Cleaners located in Roswell. Michael is a member of the Optimist Club International.
Michael has a son Chris Koonce who is a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. All of Michaels time is spent taking care of our many families we serve and he enjoys taking care of his dogs at home.

Administrative Assistant
Jeanice Holland has been with LaGrone Funeral Chapel for 26 years and likes the idea of helping people.
She was born in Amarillo, Texas and moved to Ruidoso, NM in 1965, whre she met and married her husband, Bill. He is a retired carpenter. She has 2 children, a boy and a girl, and 1 step-daughter. She has 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Jeanice, being a people person has been involved in many civic clubs including Roswell Women's Network Club, Beta Sigma Phi, Sertoma Club, which she served in all of the offices and now is itno the Roswell Senior Adult Center tap dance group called RAC-A-TAPS. The group performs for many functions in town.
One of her pet projects with LaGrone's was organizing and presenting the Dignity Memorial "Escape School", a program to educate school children in ways to prevent abduction. In 2005 the program was presented to thousands of children and adults.

Funeral service Intern
Sandy Ketchell is a licensed funeral service intern with LaGrone Funeral Chapel. Sandy has been with LaGrone Funeral Chapel since 2004. He is a native of Roswell and a graduate of Goddard High School. He is a member of the Roswell Optimist Club.
Sandy enjoys the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and a good campfire. Wife, Lisetta, a homemaker, takes care of their son Ryley.

Funeral Service Intern
James was born in Olney Maryland and moved to Roswell in 1984. He attended Roswell public schools. After school, he worked at various jobs around Roswell. James was introduced to the funeral industry in 2001. With this interest he moved to Findlay, Ohio for a job with a funeral home. He worked there until 2006 when he was able to move back to Roswell for a position with LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
James has been married to his wife Robin since 2000 and they have three kids Crystal, Jasmine, and J.J. When we are not working my family enjoys the nice warm New Mexico. James enjoy motorcycle trips and vacations to warm destinations, working on old cars, hunting, and fixing old electronics.

Building Maintenance
Cip moved to Roswell in 1980 and started with LaGrone Funeral Chapel in 1988. He has taken care of the maintenance of the facility, cars and grounds since that time.
Cip and wife, Stella, have six children, Gracie, Raymond, Jerome, Lori, Margarita, and Tony who all grew up in Roswell and attended the Roswell schools. Cip now has seven grandchildren.

Receptionist
Cyrena Rhyne was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She and her husband Bill transferred to Roswell in 1996. Cyrena has spent 24 years of her career in banking. She joined LaGrone Funeral Chapel in September 2005 and loves her job.
In her spare time Cyrena enjoys Toile painting and the challenge of China Painting. She and her husband love to spend time together, riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, camping, and playing darts.
Cyrena and Bill has been married for 25 years they have two children, Lisetta Ketchell, age 21, and Jacob Rhyne, age 18, (just gradutated from high school). They have one 6 month old grandson.
