"General Knowles was a truly great man who I am honored to call my friend. I got to know Dick in the State Legislature. He was the republican Leader in the House and I in the Senate. We worked closely together. He was a man of strong principle who always kept his word. He was a great leader and our State and everyone who worked with him are better off for his involvement and leadership.
