Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 20, 2012 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Frances Florence Carpenter, age 86, who passed away on July 17, 2012. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. Doug Austin of the West Country Club Church of Christ will officiate.

Frances was born on March 19, 1926 in Old Glory, Texas to Ernest and Eula Harris. They have both preceded her in death.

She married Leroy Carpenter on May 2, 1941 in Dexter, New Mexico. He has also preceded her in death

She has also been preceded in death by one daughter: Patsy Carpenter and a brother: Allen Harris.

Frances is survived by a son: David (Anetta) Carpenter: sister: Ernestine (AJ) Harrison; grandson: Ross (Lora) Carpenter: granddaughter: D’Aun (Mike) Pierce: Great Grandsons: Ben Gray, Jake (Kassi) Carpenter: Skyler Pierce, Sterling Pierce; Great Granddaughter: Katie (Jeremy) Ragland, Karli and Keylee

Pallbearers will be her grandson and great grandsons.

She was a Sergeant in the Records Division for the Roswell Police Department and a member of Country Club Church of Christ
