MONTGOMERY, BILL -- No services are scheduled at this time for Bill Montgomery, age 87 of Roswell, who passed away April 18, 2012, at Mission Arch Nursing Home.

Bill was born May 2, 1924 in Dickey County, North Dakota to W. H. and Fern Van Natta Montgomery. Both parents preceded him in death.

He married Jo Poole on August 27, 1950 in Ware Shoals, South Carolina. She survives him at the family home in Roswell.

Other survivors include a son, W. H. Montgomery and his wife Emily of Chula Vista, California, a daughter, Margery Cooper and her husband, Jim of White Settlement, Texas. Other survivors include a sister, Margaret Raabe of Grand Junction, Colorado. He is also survived and will be missed by his faithful dog, Patches.

Bill was a Boiler Operator with the Civil Service, until his retirement. He was of the Protestant faith.
