Ed Shaw

SHAW, ED – Memorial services are scheduled for 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Ed Shaw, age 67, who passed away February 27, 2010. Pastor Wayne Snow of the Life Ministries will officiate, with honors provided by the Roswell Veterans Honor Guard.
Ed was born on November 7, 1942 to Jack and Marie Shaw in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. His father has preceded him in death.
On January 14, 1967 he married Georgia O’Dean in Canoga Park California. She survives him at the family home.
Ed served his country in the United States Navy. He was the Budget Director for the United States Postal Service for the Western Region prior to retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Life Ministries. Ed was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his two sons: Darin Shaw and his wife Karen of Keizer, Oregon and Sean Shaw and his wife Patty of Roswell; two daughters: Irene Maxwell of Livermore, California and Melodie Shaw of Reseda, California; His mother Marie Shaw of Redding, California; brother: Fred Shaw of Carpinteria, California; sisters: Sherry Otto of Lake Zurich, Illinois and Debbie Smith of Redding, California; eight grandchildren: D.J. Shaw, Danny Shaw, David Shaw, Brian Shaw, Nick Tugangui, Liza Tugangui, Amanda Tugangui and John O’Dean.
