GRAVES, DOROTHY VIOLA – Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Dorothy Viola Graves, age 90, of Roswell, who passed away February 12, 2010. Dr. Onsy Whicker will officiate with interment to follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park.

Dorothy was born on June 18, 1919 in Browning, Missouri to Lawrence and Edith Rinehart, who preceded her in death.

On December 6, 1938, Dorothy married Hugh Graves in Roswell, who also preceded her in death.

Others who preceded her in death include sisters Vita Kline and Verneice Rinehart, Grandson Timothy Smith and Great Granddaughter Leah Sanders.

Dorothy was a homemaker. She was am member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Roswell, New Mexico.

She is survived by her children: Sharon Graves of Roswell, Tommy Graves and his wife Oretta of Roswell, and Bobby Graves and his wife Yvonne of Hobbs, New Mexico; Debbie Smith and her husband Morris of Roswell and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby S. Graves, Rankin Harvey, Tommy Smith, Mark Fitzwater, James Graves, and Casey Key.

Arrangements are under the direction of LaGrone Funeral Chapel.
